Howdy -
I'm new to RC, starting out with an MBX4 about 1 month ago. I'm already looking at a 1/10th road car as well. You might say I have the bug.
The issue I'm having is tracks, and the 'scene' here in the SF/Bay area. What is available in Northern California in general? How far to do people drive to use a track? How important is it to have a good local shop, or are people happy with mailorder?
Personally, I'd rather stay within 1 hour of home, and I rather a *good* local shop over mail-order.
Also, are there any clubs, forums, or email lists that are specific to the Nor-Cal area?
