I have a Nylint reproduction of a Cox Champion midget racer complete with fake Cameron engine.
I wonder what it would take to power this model with an electric motor. Maybe the car's speed control could be operated by standard receiver and speed control on board but power would be provided though the tether.
I imagine that a toothed belt from motor to wheel sprocket would be a good way to go.
Has anybody tried an electric-powered R/C tether car?
