well... for bashing... buy some used batteries... you can pick up used race
packs from drivers or even just old batteries for almost nothing. Ie, a few
2000 packs could work just fine for bashing. Even some older 1700s... you
could get them for like $5-10 each. That's what i started for dirt... i
still have some 1700s that i use for practice on dirt...

Check out Horizon Hobbies company called Dynamite.

http://dynamiterc.com/

They have soem 3000mah batts that retail for about 30.00.

They also sell niCads that are really cheap for bashing around.

the prices on their website are list. find what you like and ask your
hobbyshop what kinda price they will give you.

Also going to towerhobbies.com and check out their batteries...there's
lots of choices in many price ranges.

the local shop by me has 1400's new for less than 20 dollars for two of
them. They are an off brand sold for bashing around. We get over
5minutes with them usinmg a stock motor and the outta the box spur and
pinion for the T3 and the B3. Of course at about 4 minutes there's no
punch left in them but hey...they're inexpensive batteries for goofing
around.

I picked up 10 sets of 1700's and 2 2400's all nicads on ebay, from a
retired racer, for a total of 65.00. I use them for just bashing also.

At rcuniverse.com see the forum for cars, and check out the folks
selling used gear. You find bargains there too.
