I know it's an Associated product but cant seem to find the exact model.
Is this car that has been modified from it's original stock parts?

Looks like an RC10 Stealth car w/ a Dirt Oval conversion.
Looks like the first car released w/ the Stealth. Has gold shocks...

I was at rc10.com, and reviewed their old catalogs:
http://teamassociated.com/feedbackresult/forms/oldmanuals.htm
what is throwing me is the flat chassis. The RC10DS has the older gold
shocks, but it came with a black skillet like chassis that looks like a
T2 chassis.
the other on road cars don't have the 4 gold shocks.
BTW...I just won that auction and got that car for 24.00. Looks like it
might be fun.

That flat chassis plate is likely an aftermarket one(a number of them
used to be available). I'd say that car is an original RC10(not
Stealth version) that had the Stealth transmission added to it
later(which would explain the gold shocks & gold rear motor guard). As
has been said, it looks like it was converted to dedicated dirt oval
use, that's why it doesn't quite look like you'd expect....:)
