To All Independent Portland Ship Modelers,
And all interested parties.

This Saturday at Tualitan Commons will be the 2nd Annual
Portland Model boat Regatta(and one Tank or is it an AAV-7). Feel free to invite anyone you know.
For the most part there will be open sailing for everyone.
There will be at least three competitions
Best Scale ship
Maneuvering
Command Con - A new challenge where you will call out commands as someone else drives your boat.

Gas boats are welcome as long as care is taken to put down a tarp to prevent fuel spills.

Please check in as everyone needs to sign a hold harmless statement for the City.
If you choose to compete, there will be a fee to help cover award costs.

We All had a great time last year. So come on out whether you are competing, just sailing, or just want to show your project in a static dispay, or just watch. Bring your own table, chairs, and sun shade if you have them. Restaurants and Fast food are near by for refreshments.

I hope to be sailing the Kaleetan WSF, the Scirocco, and one New joint ship venture.
Get your batteries on the charge. Set up begins at 9am, Events will begin around 11am.
See you Saturday.
