I like the e-maxx. It really chews through batteries, so it wouldn't to have
a few sets and a good peak charger.

Sure beats socks and underwear.

I'm gonna ask for a TC3 and see what happens.

Good, good, good! But get a decent charger so you don't have to wait
for hours to charge batteries. And if you plan to race it (or your
father plans to race it), let us know and I can suggest some useful
damage-resistant modifications.

Thanks Rick! Other than the normal electrical gripes, I haven't heard too
many bad things about this beast. I doubt I will end up racing it, but I'm
sure I will upgrade it as time goes. One of my favorite things about RC is
doing the mechanical work to them. Post the tips as I could use them and
archive them for later ;-)

I run an e-maxx, I traded a t-maxx to get it and i am much happier with the
low end power the E has over the T i got some upgrade parts mainly the rear
shock tower is now aluminum and the stearing servo is a cirrus cs-80.

i was thinking of changing from the stock titan motors to the "Milds" from
trinity but i don't know if i want to sacrafice runtime for more speed and
power?

I run my E-Maxx every once and awhile... it's stock except for widemaxx kit
and deans plugs. Torquey little thing, The rear wheel telescoping shafts are
twisted, but still holding.

I've got an E Maxx as well. Nice truck. I would definitely like a little
more speed from it - except for those alloy, clipless body posts (Integy?
Can't remember) mine is stock. When the motors start to lose their zip I
hope to be able to afford to go brushless. There was an article in a local
mag a while ago (local =Australia) where a guy had an "E" with a Hacker C50
and it sounded like a pretty hot truck, so I hope to be able to afford that
when the time comes.

btw, how much runtime do you get with 6 cell duals and titan 550s? (stock as
new)

I love my E-maxx.I have upgraded to MIP CVD's all around,Traxxas aluminum bottom braces, all aluminum skids(full set from Dynamite w/the full length tranny skid)an aluminum servo skid,RPM shock towers, bumpers and bulk braces.AE clip on heat sinks, big bore shocks with four heavy springs on the corners,70w oil and shock sox,New era roll bar, deans plugs all around and gp 3300 batteries. It really is a tough truck.I love it.
