Well done Andy.
To think that some people say you cant get anaerobic workout just standing
still. When I took my sticks off my heart rate was about 180

I once flew with a *broken* skid, but I can't really say I've ever flown
with NO skids. ;-)

I once wiped a set of skids right off when I "clipped" the floor. The heli
didn't stop flying, but the landing gear did:-) In front of a nice audience
too, but a couple of flight boxes shoved "just" close enough together made
the final landing uneventful.

I'll tell you something too. Without any U/C, these heli's really move
along!!!

And LOOK really cool, too. Something on the order of a poor man's 222 with
retracts (permanently) retracted.

We knew that Andy, we just went off at a tangent. (That's like an angle
thingy I think:-)

Of course! How stupid of me! You were referring to the telltale marks one
sometimes finds in his undies after narrowly escaping disaster while
attempting a new maneuver. As in, "I managed to get her back down in one
piece but I really laid down a set of training skids on that one!"

In that case, I too have flown without skids on a few occasions. ;-)
