Just finding out that Raptor doesn't come with a Startershaft I did a search
on Cyberheli.
There they also have a "Starter Coupling".
What is it, what does it do, and do I need it ?

You don't need as your heli already has it. It is what the starter
shaft engages with on the heli. For other type of starter shafts have
a look here
