I am thinking of getting a RC blimp for promoting my website at indoor car shows. I have priced some from suppliers like www.balloons.biz, but I wanted to know if you guys had input on what I should get. I am looking for some thing between 3-8 ft. Just wondering what my options are. I'd really like one that would work outside as well. TIA

At the 3-8 foot size it'll work well indoors, but outdoor use will be limited to calm days only. You'll only be ballasting the blimp to weigh a pound or so, and a thermal can grab it pretty quickly (ask me how I know). We have a 12' and 30' model from Revo. The 12' model runs on two speed 400s for the mains and one speed 400 for tail control. A standard servo controls main motor tilt. The 30' runs brushless motors and is ballasted to weigh several pounds. It has enough power to handle the wind and get out of thermals. The prices at balloons.biz are comparable to the Revo blimps.

Hi Scott thanks for proving this blimp topic is not dead.

We make a 13-foot blimp that runs on 3 speed 400's (why yes the DO say Graupner on the side!)

I have more options and at a lower price than all of the other providers. I'll send you the fact sheet on a pm.
