I cannot remember where I saw it but a Rigid Inflatable Boat model is really
easy to build using some 1/8" door skin wood and some foam pipe insulation.
You simply make the lower hull by cutting out your hull pattern and bending
each side up and gluing it at the nose and gluing on a low transom at the
stern. Then you take your foam pipe insulation and apply it to the upper
edges of the hull and thats it. If I can find the website or more info
I'll post them to the news group.
<p>Also, if you want a commercially made kit, I believe Harbormodels.com
sells one.

The plans are on the Marine Model International site. Google this group
for "Rigid Inflatable Boat" or "RIB" for a direct link, it's on
http://www.traplet.com .

Cheers,
