I use hot glue on my Deans connectors to insulate and strengthen the
contacts.

I guess that would work, but so would silicone. Hot glue would never last in
any Nitro...

Hot glue works just fine in my nitros. Maybe you should try something
BEFORE saying how bad it is. Leaping before looking again?
HG is a viable tool. Fast and cheap. comment about sears was rude as well.

Thanks, Sam. I'll keep using my hot glue for my deans connectors,
regardless of Tempest's insistance that it doesn't work. :) It's just a
local track, but I'm still the fastest driver there.
btw It's Thunder Road Racing in Elkins, AR. Stop by Garry's RC Place on
Harris Community Road for directions.

A little to far for a 'drop in' as I'm in the Seattle area. Lot's of racing
here and they are all faster than me. I do more wrenching than driving -
never enough time for everything

I HAVE tried hot glue before, and did not have any success with it. So I
have "tried".
As for the Sears comment, sorry but it sounded like an ad. :)
