Hovercraft equipment and parts!!! Made for 1:10 scale Griffon!!!
Hello!
At http://www.model-hovercraft.com/ , they have plans for a 1/10 scale Griffon 2000TDX. It is about 4 feet long, 3 feet wide, and 1 foot tall, skirt uninflated. 2 feet tall inflated.
I have built this model, and it is really a high quality hovercraft, and construction is simple, quick, VERY sturdy, and it really works well on every surface I tried it on!
And then, I just stoppped using the hovercraft, and it became old, and basically, I tossed the entire thing - but kept all the goodies.

That is what I am selling - parts for this hovercraft. It is all the hard stuff to get. It is a custom designed propulsion duct made from tapering thin blue plastic, and 1/4" vinner is used for the crossglid for the motor mount. The S700 turbo engine is still bolted on. This is a very sturdy part, and it comes with a prop adapter, and even the 3 blade 8x6 proppeler already installed - the perfect match for th S700 monster! Everything is put together. Everything is built to be dissasebled. The motor comes off, the prop has access, etc etc etc. IT is a very complicated design that took a very long time to design and build. It has 3 rudders as asked for in the plans, and a real reavy duty Hitec servo on the propulsion duct. The connections are all attached, and very well thought out. I have pull/pull with control rods that would be strong enough even with push/pull.

I am also selling two specificaally chosen "fence" guards that go above and below the lift engine duct to keep things on the roads and water out (seeweed, rocks, etc) and especially fingers, too.

Also, I am selling the special motor mount that mounts the vertical lift motor. I have a S600 motor already bolted on to it, with threadlock, and a prop adapter with an 8x6 propeller already built in. Everything is assembled already!

AND, finally, the skirt for the hovercraft, made of black rip stop nylon - the best material available for the task. It is thin, lightweight, slippry, and waterproof! The skirt works and looks like new, although while taking it off, I accidentally teared one stitch, and it should take about another 3 minutes to get it back to perfect shape. It is built to the exact plans given, and the edges of the fabric weregone over near a flame to fuse the end threads together - so they actually CANNOT become undone and start to taper out. Great skirt! Same size as indicated on plans, and fits your hovercraft perfectly!

This is everything BUT the elecctronics and the actual frame/body/frame bed, which can be done quickly and easily! So, all the hard stuff has been taken care of already. Since I have successfully already built the entire hovercraft, I will give you any help you need in condtructin the pieces and everything else. Just PM or email me!

Last but not least, please keep in mind that these parts were hand crafted by me, and they are not very quality-built. When using epoxy, I might have added too much or dribbled some around the area, some components might be heavy, and some parts are less than perfect. Also, my hovercraft was equipped with all these, and it has flown and used and even crashed (I ran into objects full speed, turned around without stopping, kept on going - this puppy is very sturdy!), so some components might be broken, but everything can be easily and quickly fixeed or tidied up in about 5 minutes an item.

I am also, finally, selling a 3 channel AM Hitec reciever. This would work prefectly for the hovercraft that the rest of the components go into, and I am selling it at a bargain price. Add $30 to the rest of the order to buy the reciever as well. Works perfectly, brand new!

Thank you very much for looking and reading!

Hello!
As I built them myself, and designed some of them myself, and then, they are not even in perfect condition, pricing proved to be tough. But, here's my best try:

$100 for the propulsion duct (don't forget that a $35 motor, $30 servo, $15's worth of well, the duct ring itself, clevises and control horns and screws and plywood went into this too, and a $12 prop and $3 adapter and it is all assembled too!! Only materials cost me $90!! And I designed and built this! Awesome deal!)

$40 for the horizontal motor mount (this includes a $30 motor, high quality plywood that has been glassed for strength and less vibration, an apropriate propeller and adapter!)

$5 for the guard nets (made of well chosen perfect-for-the-job material that lets air through but not fingers!)

$30 for the skirt (because it is very acurately made - the best posible material - rip-stop nylon was used, and the unique shapes were printed on a plotter and exact to scale, long process...)

That makes $175 + shipping for all the above, but if you buy it all in one package, I'll only charge $150 shipped!!

*****If you want this package but aren't satisfied with the rice, please, please just sugest your own, and I'll see about it!*****

Thanks!

last bump, and then I'll take them all apart.

Please guys, remember, I am even willing to lower the price down for you, and or take it apart for the un-me-made parts :) such as the servos, motors, etc. The prop is very nice, too!

Thanx!
