Inquiry was made to DeWalt set up in Paige Aviation super cub,(kit from Nova Scocia) ; Specs. 80" ws,940 sq.",6.52 sq. ft.,140 oz. (8.75 lb.)--DeWalt 14.4 motor w/ 3.1:1 belt drive- 14x8 cam prop(a folder, tighten bolts for non folder)- 18 x 2400 scr cells-on my astro whatt meter-take off power-640 watts at 31 amps, rpm 6700-watts lb. 8-10 min. flights with some loops and stall turns thrown in. A super kit for light wt. construction. Very satisfaction flight.--HOWEVER-I only had a charger that went to 18 cells at the time. I would now go to the 18 volt DeWalt with the 3.6:1 belt drive-same h-1000 belt drive set up, and 21 plus cells with a 16x8 prop. You don't need high pitch props for a cub. You need thrust, not speed. This complete set up is only $114.95 from New Creations and includes prop adapter. I had to mount sideways inside the super cub cowl. Regular cub probaly vertical. I do not have motocalc to compare, but was pretty close on my old outdated eleccalc. Forget the P- calc (on flydma.com) that doesn't agree with anything
go for it
