I would like to try a turbulator strip on my Robbe Dash-7.
Where should i put it?
Help!!! :(

It varies but if you put it at 15 to 20% of the chord back from the leading edge that should tell you if it helps.
For a quick experiment use two layers of electrical tape cut down to 1/8 wide. If it doesn't help move it forward to the 15% mark. If that still doesn't help the low speed end of the flying range then you don't need them.
The idea of the turbulators is to generate a thin sticky layer of turbulent air to help avoid the formation of a larger separation bubble that is VERY draggy and has poor lift. If there is no such bubble then the turbulators won't do anything. Separation bubbles usually form at lower speeds when you're trying to hang. If your model gets mushy at those speeds and seems like it's settling fast then you probably have such a bubble at that speed.
They don't do anything for the high speed end of the spectrum.

You probably dont need them unless you have a VERY smooth wing !
