Hey does anyone know where I can get some Rapier rocket motors here in North America?

Try www.peck-polymers.com
I believe they have quite a bit of Rapier stuff, but it might be in their catalog, so drop them a line and ask them for one. Careful, though, it's got all kinds of other goodies in there that you'll want! :D

I have seen some terrific flights from jets powered by Rapiers
Richard Crossley and Peter Smart are experts over here and design super planes using stick and tissue. I think the Aerographics jet kits are mostly thier designs.
They fly with a really nice fizzle noise and a treak of smoke out the back, they keep accellerating while the motor burns - not like a propellor powered plane
Our web site shows the Lightning about half way down, this is one of the bigger jet powered models.

They are also avaliable from:
Carol Kanes 740-223-7471 (in Ohio)
Carol is a little more expensive but the service is Super, 2 days to Dallas area. She also has Aerographics kits, the Flitzer a, it could have been WW2 german design that is said to fly very well.
