I have completed my peanut scale Fokker D8 to the point where it is ready to be covered. I have never built a scale rbff before so I have some questions.

1. My plane has a solid nose-block. This means once the rubber is installed and the plane covered. The rubber will be sealed inside. Is this normal for a scale RBFF?

2. My plan doesn't go into any detail on a prop assembly. What should I be using for a bearing? Washers ...beads?

No nose plug is not good, you will have no way to make thrustline adjustments and they will be needed, #2 the rubber will either come off the hook or break and you wont be able to change it. Make a plug to fit a 1/2" square hole in your cowl (pic 1), make it a nice tight fit a wobbly plug will make trimming impossible. You can use a bead or a Peck Polymers small thrust button (pic 2)
