On my Enya 15 I can use a 7x4 to a 9x4 , prop, when I use a 9x4 master airscrew its power is steady and smooth, when I use a topflite wood 9x4 its sluggish and when I used a 9x4 grish it would bog down , whats the scoop on the same sizes not performing the same. email me if you want ronplanes@cs.com

The 9x4 designation doesn't tell you much about a prop.
Example:
- material
- material flex
- material strength
- weight
- blade airfoil
- blade width
- blade thickness
- blade curvature
and so on.
There are just too many variables that 9x4 doesn't cover. Hence people always mention the manufacturer. Props from different manufacturers are never the same in the details!
