Hopf Mikado Micro Eco Boat NEW Epoxy Glass Fiber
Hopf's newest tiny ECO boat. Hand laid epoxy glass fiber. This thing really goes. It is self-righting. So if you hit the waves too fast and flip it, no need to swim!
The pictures don't do justice to how small and how well-made this boat really is. Measurements are 27 cm long, 9 cm wide (approx 10 1/2 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide). Small enough to race in your swimming pool or a small pond.
What is offered is a new original Hopf Mikado hull plus cowl, an original Hopf shaft (4mm prop thread) with Aluminum motor mounting bell, a precision aluminum coupler with set screws, and a 300 Hopf viper brushed motor. Use the motor with seven GP250 or KAN950 2/3 A cells and she'll fly!! Also included is an aluminum rudder as seen in the pics.
This new untouched set is ready to ship and only $95 +SH. SH for lower US is $10.
Apart from the fact that this is a great deal, Hopf boats are extremely rare and notoriously hard to get unless you are part of a small inner circle of German racers.

dropping price under my cost of this brand new stuff: $90 which includes shipping to lower 48. $2.50 extra for insurance.

Nice looking boat. What kind of run times, and what amps with the KAN 950's?

Thanks.

with KAN 950 s run times in the 9 to 10 minutes. Motor pull around 7 to 8 amps going flat out.
KAN 950 are great and cheap to boot..around $1.60 each nowadays:
