Why buy ANY batteries?

If you have a friend that works at a hospital, or if you can find the mantainence department in your local hospital, they are constantly changing out old "power back-up batteries" in medical equipment.

My friend gets tons of gell cell batteries .
From just his hospital,

All the batteries have to be changed out per hospital
