0.25 flex cable
Does anyone know of a way to grease the flex cable without pulling it out of
the boat?
A stuffing box with a grease nipple?
Thanks.

take a fuel tank clunck (you'll just discard them for a boat appication anyway)
and use a dremel to round out the intake end of it. Usually there drum type
sander and grinding bits will give you just about the right curve to match the
stuffing tube. Solder this on the tube somewhere. after it's on there then
drill through the hole in the clunk and go through the stuffing tube. Attach a
short piece of fuel line to it and you have an oiler for your cable.
But thats not an excuse to not ever remove your cable!!!! It needs to be
inspected every few runs and also well greased. I liked using Boca bearings
cable grease (it held up the best in my boats). When I had an oiler in one boat
I used something like STP in it I think, along with the other grease on the
cable.
