If you have ever wandered into the Modelers and Hobby Forum Website,

http://communities.msn.com/ModelersAndHobbyForum

you will know that we have had the 2003 Portland Regatta scheduled for June 7, and 8th at the Tualatin commons in Tualatin Oregon.

Since we will not be sailing for the Milk Carton boat races, and the small turnout we had last year, We have decided to sail on Saturday only, June 7th At
"The Tualatin Commons" on the West side of the pond.

Set up will begin around 8 am, and events will be held beginning around 10:30 or 11 am.

Get your boats tuned up, and get some stick time in. Not only will we be holding our regular Maneuvering, and scale competition, but there is the opportunity to try our "Blind Piloting" event. Where you issue commands for your boat, to a
pilot that has his back turned to the pond.

We have tried this event, And I can put my destroyer up against the dock while the pilot never sees the boat.

So get your ships ready, And we'll see you at the Commons on Saturday June 7th, 2003

This is an unsponsored electric only event, all events are designed for scale ships and not fast electics. There will be open sailing time available.
