hi guys
can anyone help me with the 52arr
my problem is

I cant get it to run correctly, i can get it to idle and i can get to hover
it, but sadly when I land it to idle again it cuts out, have changed all
fuel lines and filters, adjusted idle screw and main needle, but sadly
nothing works, any idea's???

One cause could be that your main needle is set too lean, so while flying the
engine heats up. Then when you drop it back to idle (which you set while the
engine was nice and cool?) the mixture setting is wrong for the heat of the
engine.
Richen both needles until it runs really rich, run the engine til it gets to
normal working temperature, then gradually turn them in, a bit at a time on
each.
It could be the plug, which runs fine when its cool, but can't handle the heat.
Or it could be exhaust pressure, not enough to keep the fuel flowing once the
revs drop off. A header tank might cure that one.

Just a few thoughts, I'm sure there are more.

Hey, replying to my own posts...how sad is that, lol.

Just another thought, before anyone comments ...
The main needle could also be too rich, so when the revs drop there is too much
fuel in the carb which then douses the glow on the plug. If that is happening,
ignore comments above :-)

I'll have to add that one to my list of possible options :-)

Please let us know if they find anything

Cheers
