Hello!!
What rate should I quick charge a NiMH battery pack at? (3300 Venom).
I was told keep it below 3.0 amps.... Is that right?
I'm new to NiMH charging.... I usually charge my NiCad's at about 3.5 - 4.5.
Help!!!
Thanks.

I (and most of my club-members) charge them at 5 amps.
(GP 3300)
Charging at 3 amps will take a loooong time.

Depends on your charger. If you are using an old style charge like KO-212.
Tekin, or else like that, charge it no more then 4.5a, but with some new
charges or some really high end charger like the pulsar, pit bull or turbo,
you can do it with 5~6a. charge the batteries with a lower A will not only
affecting the charge time, but also the output of the batteries. If you have
a charger that can charge the batteries at 6 amps, try once and you can
realize the difference.
