:)Well this is it's fourth upgrade......The time was when i first bought it, well it didn't last long like 3 minutes then blew up :censored: Took it back and got a new ESC well that didn't last long either smokin up  ok, it got replaced 4 times, last one it caught on fire lucky i save her:mad: It was the worst esc aqua-craft ever made........So i decided to fix the problem myself:rolleyes:......Ended up buying this Air-Cooled Unlimited car ESC, it worked could run it all day long without any issue's.....Still wasn't enough i wanted more power, so i upgraded the motor to a Titan 12 Turn motor which didn't last long (the motor blew up)....So i got another motor the 560 Stone-Crusher well i was impressed it work really well...run it day and night no problems.....still i wanted it faster so i got her all new upgrade... Now it's gonna have brushless & lipo power, The package is (Hobbywing) 380 Size 4800kv Water-Cooled Brushless motor and a Water-Cooled 60amp ESC this should go well be running on two cells....... it's 90% finished just waiting on parts..:(....here's some pics... keep ya posted when done..:)

The gentleman from NJ is correct. You made 2 mistakes! Motor should be a 36 50 3300 bl with internal cooling and mistake 2 is esc should be 80 amper.
Prop can be a Carbon Fiber 1.4 -37.5 on twin 7.4 25c 2200 in parallel as your boat is 27" long with motor position just ahead of the CG and lipos just to the fantail of CG so all will balance close to CG. Suggestions only! Take it or leave it! LOL!

:)Glad to say the hammer went well on her first miaden voyage, :D didn't sink,blow-up,stop or run-away. Wheel stand take off wicked sounds handles wickedly cool little bit of a tail shake just the rudder not to worry i don't think this boat can handle anything faster. Brought furious back in after 3 minutes for internal check up knowing that motor could be hot due to that high kv out put.........ok check everything out, no water inside cool ESC was cold, battery slightly warm, motor HOTi thought......besides that ......that'll be ok for now, just do 2 to 3 minute runs until i can find a 380 size marine-motor with less kv. OK take it out agian till motor cooled done this time stick gps in...:)the best it ever done before was with the 560 brushed motor with a 26kph, stock out of box it done 15-16kph.........ok with the new setup it done 32.3kph not bad first time out , Here's a couple of pics from the Casino Lake run:cool:

So what do u's think ???Oh yeh that motor is only a 130 size, found a 130 size with 2604kv from rc boat bitz, bit more pricey. Why they sell such high kv (HOBBYWING)4800kv,gets me..besides the motor, everthing went wickly good...Least i can make a coffee with the hot water from the motor lol......

Turnigy 28 45 3600 is a good bl, i have 4 of them from Hobbycity and i use a 1.4-34.5 Carbon Fiber prop from OSE. Now anything less in prop size on 7.4 lipo won't do it so you have to go higher in prop. You can go higher in prop pitch and higher mm but then you have a amp eater. When i used to run brushed motors, i used 12/2 12/3 winds and a 632 octura prop and always performed great. Now with nihm cells, voltage on 6 pack was 9.5 which made a 632 a good choice of a prop. I don't know what a 632 would do on 11.1 lipo as i run 7.4 lipo. Right now i have a 36 50 3300 bl on 7.4 25c 2200 in parallel with a 1.4 34.5 and is plenty fast. I'll have to wait till next year as winter is about on top of us. Hope you find the perfect motor.

THX retoabcr...........Went out again yesterday, with the boy's to SNAKE-SWAMP, very windy day away, tried a X430 octura prop she done well but still limited run time, due to high kv motor don't wont to burn it out just yet,(but my 7.4v 25c 3600mah last's about 5-6 runs with out charging) loves leaping out of the water good thing she does'nt flip or roll over, lol it's like a jet boat quite funny to see, should be uploading the vid soon of "furious"and thx agian for advice it all helps...

First off, your welcome! That boat moves right on. Next, that pond area is beautiful with the aerator in the back ground. The 7.4 and the 4800 kv really move. Have a good day!
