I just installed my new 9253 for my GY401 and was practicing backwards
curcuits when something wierd happened in the turn and the helicopter
fell out sideways and I managed to level it out, but didnt have enough
power to stop the fall(only 20ft up anyway...) and it smacked into a
hidden steel bar behind some tall grass.

The helicopter was pretty much beyond repair. All the electroinics
survived, but due to the extensive damage to both mainframes and the
rotorhead, I'm not gonna waste any more money fixing this heli. Gonna
save my $ and get me a 50 ;)

So the question is Raptor V2 or Scedeau? Need to save up some $ for an
OS50 and an 8103 too...

Haven't flown the raptor V2! My sceadu is a fine helicopter though! Climb
rate with the os .50 is the fastest i've seen!!! hairy!
Haven't had any problems with it yet either!
Alan

You won't need spares if you don't crash, and their not that far off the
raptors spares prices. See what your local hobby shop is selling spares for.
Skyline were doing a good deal on the sceadu. Or import and save ££

Sceadu is a slightly better machine, but not noticeably enough better to
make up for the difference is spares cost and more importantly spares
availability.

Get the Raptor v2.
