Hi
Does anyone have a list of the Heli stores that have online shopping
facilities??
I'm new to the hobby, and would like to compile a list of UK stores....
However, if there are any good overseas ones (such as www.cyberheli.com ),
then I'm also interested. I've recently ordered from them, and they were
Excellent.... so I don't mind ordering from overseas......
I'm looking for an ECO 8, or other electric heli, with a brushless
motor..... Any pointers appreciated. I don't mind buying from overseas, if
the price is right!!
Thanks in advance

I'd STRONGLY recommend you look at the Mikado Logo 10. It's bigger and more
substantial than the Eco 8 and is an up to date design. With the Hacker
50-13 brushless motor, 14 tooth drive pinion, Schultze 18-46 speed
controller, Sanyo RC 2400 MAH batteries and 500 mm Razors, it flies like a
30 nitro machine. And it's smoooooth and stable.
Get yourself at least two battery packs and a decent fast charger, I've just
bought a SuperNova. The batteries can be charged in about 35 minutes at the
field but they should be allowed to cool before charging. Three batteries
would be better, one flying. one cooling and one charging. That way you can
fly all day!
One word of warning, keep a close eye on the charge level of your car
battery, if that's what you are using, and take a set of jump leads to the
field. Don't be the last to leave....just in case:-( The 2400 MAH batteries
take a big hit from the charging source!

And........
http://www.cyberheli.com/
Is where I got all the EXPENSIVE items from.
The servos, gyro and blades were all UK sourced.

Personally, I take a high capacity 12 volt lead-acid battery with me and
run the fast charger from that... saves the car battery. :)
