hello,
this is my first time in a forum. actually i need help with my first rc project, a 7 foot blimp. I'm not sure what motor, prop and esc combination would prove to have the best thrust. I'm staying in Malaysia and i have practically no one i can look for help here.
since my blimp is rather small, i have weight limitations. I thought of powering the blimp with two electric motors but not sure which yet? would each motor require a separate esc? what model/type of motor would be the best?
all inputs are welcome,thank you.

Hi Alwyn and welcome!
Start with http://www.rcmicroflight.com/nov99/microblimp1.asp for a really small blimp that will give you a lot of beginer information.
My suggestion for your seven footer would be to take the fuselage, motor, controls and tail assembly off a gws slow stick and hang it under the bag with a set of strings. Ballast till it slowly settles to the floor then go fly in a gym.

half the size of 7 foot.. (3.5 ft) you are near the size of the $50 blimp kits.
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGVE7&P=ML is a bit over 4 ft. They list smaller ones.. but they get "very cheesy" very fast as they get smaller (this is kinda cheesy as it is..)

Try West coast Blimps
See my other posts regarding them in other threads. they have full blimp packages... blimp parts.. drive systems micro reversing speed controllers for 1 to 3 motors and decent prices on blimp balloons and ballon kits.
If they make an error on the shipment, they PROMPTLY respond to being told and they deal with it more than fairly.
Least expensive 12 oz lift blimp balloon I have seen... is on thier site.
