Ok here we go, i have an RC10 B3 Factory Team with a futaba T2phka and
an MC230 esp. Also connected are a Trinity Monster Revenge 27 Turn
Motor and 6 cell sanyo NIMH battery pack. I ran the car all day long
on somewhat rough terrain, came in recharged went outside on the
street and the car dies. I made one pass with it and it stopped, now
all i get is an led from the esp, (no more beep) and only the steering
servo works, i reset the speed controll about 20 times, what did i do,
please help, anyone?
Thanks

Switch Channel 1 & 2 on the receiver and see what happens. It should just
work in reverse as far as the throttle on the transmitter will now work the
throttle on the car. This is just to rule out a receiver/transmitter
problem. You are getting a full charge to the battery, correct? You said
rough terrain, was it grass and what not or was it just a lot of jumping?
Check all connections and temporarily disconnect the motor leads and give
then direct battery power to rule out the motor. Other then a radio issue,
or the motor going up and as long as the battery has a full charge, it
sounds as if you have wasted the ESC.

oooppps....it should have read.
It should just work in reverse as far as the throttle on the transmitter
will now work the
steering on the car and vise versa.

Sounds like you have a stuck brush. Pull on the brush wires and let the
brush "snap" back down on the comm when you let it go. if it doesnt snap
back down, it's binding from dirt.

stuck brush.. perhaps something jammed INSIDE the motor like a pebble.
also if it took a hit, maybe the motor's pinion got jammed very hard against
the spur.
