First off; It's obvious I know very little about electric propulsion in aircraft. This is my first out-runner.
I am assembling a Senior "Telemaster ARF, and have installed an AXI 4120/18 Jetti Advance 70 opto plus & ultimate BEC. I have followed the red to red, black to black scheme, in connecting the battery to ESC and then to the motor. To my chagrin the motor is running backward.
What have I probably messed up, and how do I go about trouble shooting without letting the smoke out?
TIA, Ken.

That is an easy one.

The three leads that go from the motor to the Speed control.
Reverse any two of the leads, That is interchange any two.
Or lastly if you have RED, Black and yellow. Swap Red for Yellow.

Thanks Jay! That did the trick. :) Now I just have to make some time and finish the assembly. It's only been setting on the building table for a year or so.. :o
