I'm finishing up my slope scale phantom and wondering how much differential to put into the control surfaces.
Flying wing deltas I've owned which are very similar in sweep and aspect ratio, roll most cleanly with none at all. But then I know it helps on high aspect wings. Also, I'm dealing with dihedral effects as well due to the tips. I've got movable surfaces on the dihedral tips and the inner panels as well, the inner ones are aileron mixed with camber control.
I'm going to set it up initially with no diff and see how it flies, paying attention to yawing during roll. Any comments on what I can expect in terms of needing differential travel, or not needing it?
