I ve seen plenty of threads on their Corsair, but nothing on the P-51. I am looking at 40 sized warbirds and it seems there aren't too many. I have seen many .60s and they just seem too big. I already have a usable .40 engine and standard servos.

Was considering the Great Planes P-51. I don't mind building and at least I could give it a different color scheme from all the ARFs, but the big question is how does it fly?

My other consideration was a VQ 40 sized Hurricane. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

One of these might fit the bill, all the Kyosha warbirds fly great. VQ's are always great...

Had a Great Planes 40 sized P-51 - stepdad built this one - awesome flyer - this is the older one - had this back in 94 or 95 - just sold it.

It had thicker wings though and was not truly scale - think they have two different kits...

This one flew awesome though but had the thicker wing...never did get the cowling working..

Thanks Iat least I won't be getting a problem if I build the Graet Planes and I have read about the VQs.

I'll look at the Koshyo closer. The Spit looks pretty nice. Too bad there is not a Mustang or Seafury.

Thanks
