I placed an order for 2 pks. of carbon fiber strips on July 28, 2009 and the invoice posted to my credit card the next day even though they were back-ordered (total amount under $30).
I hadn't heard anything but each time I checked the online order it says my order was being processed.
Last week, after seeing that the expected arrival was 8/5/2009 (that information was 2 weeks overdue) I called in and spoke to Andrew. He said the order was still on backorder but he didn't see that the strips were coming in at any time in the future.
I asked if there was anyway to escalate this issue as I needed these strips to finish a few models.
He transfered me to Larry, his supervisor, where I left voicemail of my name, phone, order number and a description of the problem.
I haven't heard anything since last week.
I will call again today.

Called customer service again today.
Spoke to Christina. Told her I was expecting a call from Larry.
Transfered me to Larry's voicemail and I left another message.

Good luck. I ordered two 3 blade props in April and did not get them till mid July. They were in stock at the time I ordered. Then out of stock when I called 2 weeks later. Then I waited and waited finnally showed up mid July. That was my last order after being a loyal customer for years and years. There are just to many other vendors out there theat have just as nice if not better stuff.

You give me hope that there is a possibility that I might get my parts!!
When I order from Hong Kong it only takes 2-3weeks because I usually elect for the cheapest shipping. Even then, 4 if out of stock.
I understand that by using Paypal to pay the money is charged immediatly so I'm not complaining about that.
I can't understand why I can't get any response. Email, phone, order update,...

Hi Jayson,
Thanks for the update.
I Did get a call from Larry yesterday.
I was able to call him back this morning.
He told me the parts were in and they will be sending them out today.
He apologizes that they were not out sooner as there was a part number problem with their inventory system. Seems like they were advertising a 5 pk. that they didn't have but were now stocking them as singles and had those in stock.
I understand computer and inventory system programs and can see how this could happen.
He gave me his direct number and told me to call if I had any problems in the future.
I let him know that what I was not happy with was the lack of attention to responding and not how long the shipment was taking.
I'll let you know when I get the parts.

I just went online to check to see if the problem of ordering the parts I was looking for was corrected.
I tried to order from a search for carbon fiber strips and from the original part number.
If you put "GXS10405" in the search tool and BUY NOW, when you CHECKOUT it still says "[Availability: item Carbon Fiber Strip 1.0 x 4.0 x 1000 mm, 5 Pack is backordered]".
Maybe it will still take a little time to fix this.

Well I got MY parts but the problem still shows up at the website.
Packed nicely in a tube they arrived safe.
I see no reason to keep this thread open so it's CLOSED
