Just wanted to let all you guy`s know that do not already about CC Customer service.
So here`s the story.
I had a Pheniox 35 AMP and for some reason it would only run the motor with a 3 inch long prop or shorter nothing longer. I Talkked to Patrick about it and he said to send it back and he would send out a new one. While Talking to him i mentioned that it would be nice if it were to have had a Dynamic Break on it. Nothing more was said. Today I recieved in the Mail a New ESC. Not a 35 not 45 But the New 60AMP with a Dynamic Break! Now i know this would not ghapppen each and every time....But it sure seems to. Last time i had a Problem I got me ESC First THEN sennt my other back Same with this one AND a + Besides. I now will Buy Nothing But CC ESC`s Not just because He Gave me a Upgrade But Because this Man Genuinly Cares about his Customers getting the best Service Possible. For those Of you who have not gone to hus site go take a look he has a REPIAR Price list. yes thats Right a REPAIR List. He will resurect a Dead ESC for a very decent Price.
I Do not work recieve no "Gifts" and am in no way affiliated with Patrick. I have not met the Man Personally. Though I would not mind shaking this mans hand.

I didn't get one of the stickers.
What I did get tho, was a new Phoenix-60 to replace my inop Dragon-55 at no cost to me.
Thanks Patrick.
CC ESCs are definately my controller of choice.

I called them a while back about needing repairs for a Pixie 14 esc. They have a price to repair/replace a used esc that is very reasonable, and e-mails were courteously and promptly responded to. Great products AND great service !:D

I bent a shaft on my Mega 6 turn and was trying to get in touch with somebody at MegaMotorUSA without success. I called Patrick as a desperation move and he said just send it to them and he will facilitate the repair. Same excellent service when it comes to his controllers. I like them a lot as you can tell since knowing that you have great after-sales support makes a world of difference to me. There might be places where you can buy some products a little cheaper but I doubt there is a place that gives excellent after-sales support. BTW, I have no association with Castle Creations in whatever capacity, just a happy customer.

Maybe I've just fallen through the cracks but Castle Creations has $150 of my money, I've received nothing and they won't reply to any email. I'm not able to phone them during the day or I would. I think their customer service sucks.

About a year ago I flamed a CC ESC when I overloaded the device far beyond its capacity. It was my fault and mine alone. Just as a joke I put what was left in an envelope and at the NEAT Fair I asked if repair was possible. All that was left was a couple of wires and a completly charred pc board. Patrick just laughed and handed me a new device which I absolutly refused to accept. I cannot think of another vendor that would even come close to offering what this man does. Do I use his product? You can bet on it.

I Have NEVER heard of anything like this. I am sure you have just fallen through the "Cracks" My sugestion is to go to the "power systems forum and click on the Castle creations Open discusion V.30 and let patrick know you have had some dificulty in getting ahold of him. I in ow way affilated with this man or company inn ANY way. This guy has been THE Best person i have ever dealt with in this hobby(Many have come VERY VERY close to Matching his CS) Give Patrick the benifit of the Doubt. And give that forum a try.

I'm trying to be patient, but they still have my $150, I still have received nothing and I still can't get in touch with them. I've also tried to cancel my order ... no luck.
This is what you concider GREAT Customer Service? I don't think so. As far as I'm concerned, this is bordering in Internet Fraud.

I sent a Pixie 14 esc to CC for repairs last thursday with a check for the flat rate $15.00 repair charge. They received my package last Saturday. I got my new esc today ! The invoice showed that they no longer have parts for a Pixie 14 so they replaced it with a Pixie 20 at no extra charge. They will be getting more of my business ! Thank you Castle Creations ! :D

For the record Colombiarcdude placed an online order for a Razor package. He emailed on 5/19 and 3 times on 5/20. Our email was down from 5/17 until 5/22 and I responded at that time advising him of the Razor production backlog and cancelled his order per his request. Also, we never had his money as he paid by credit card and as Guyffon noted we usually charge CC's after we ship never BEFORE we ship. That's against our merchant agreement.

Some people are just too Fussy and can never be satisfied. When he said he got billed BEFORE getting his Product i knew that just couldn`t be.

Since then I've purchased a Phoenix 10 and a Phoenix 25. I'm using these on Razor motors. The 10 on a R350 with etech 1200's. And the 25 on a R2500 with 8 KAN 950's. They perform great.

Thats GREAT Tom
Which Setup do you prefer? WHat are you using them on?I am still waiting for a 400. seems like this one and the 350 are in High demand. I was going to use the 400 on a NEMESIS 3D desinged by MARTIN HUNTER A.K.A. Dreamer. Basically a Balsa T3D. Both of these Ships Perfome OUTSTANDING.

Great people, great service, buy from CC!!!
My Phoenix 25 didn't work with my MiniAC1215/16 GWS B geardrive and 12X6 props. Sent it in, they repaired it, but no improvement. Patrick thought it might be a resistor mis-match.
They quickly sent me a new Phoenix , it worked fine. I had to send the old one back.
It appears that compatibility of speed controls and different brands and types of BL motors, geardrive ratios and prop diameters is a little iffy not to mention possiblity of minor variations in esc component . The important thing as that the folks at CC try to make things right as quickly as possible.

I agree that their customer service is great. I bought a pheonix 35 for use with a Mega 3 turn. I was getting terrible glitching and narrowed it down to the speed controller. CC said that they would exchange the unit for a new one.and they are even sending a prepaid mailer to send the old one back in. Great customer service, thanks CC.

I have found that with CC ESC`s it seems to be only in the lower turn Mega`s though. I cured my problem by shortening the motor wires. Also Try and get the Mega motors wityh the TABS at the back instead of the wires.

The motor wires are only about 2 inches, maybe I need to shorten the speed controller wires. What do you mean by tabs at the back. Thanks,
Bob

Well Innstead of three wires comming out of the motor there are three Metal Tabs that you Solder the wires to instead. What I did though was to solder three MALE "Bullet" connectors to them and then connect the wires to the motor using them. Your wires from the ESC Sound short enough already I do not think i would go much shorter

I guess the moral of the story is: take care of your customers and they will take care of you!
I have a CC Phoenix 45. I had some questions on it and the rest of my power system, so I emailed the vendor from whom I purchased the system... no results. Someone on this forum suggested I contact Patrick at CC. After emailing CC, Brenda promptly replied, stating Patrick was out of town for the weekend but she would forward my questions to him. On Monday he responded, answering not only the Phoenix 45 questions, but all the other questions I had as well.
I have since read the various post on here which Patrick and the other memebers at CC ALWAYS seem to reply too, and I am amazed with his company's dedication not only to the hobby but the CUSTOMERS.
So many times I am left with a bitter taste in my mouth when dealing with vendors in this hobby, but CC is a breath of fresh air and I wish them continued success.
It's not often that I am dedicated to a company for their SERVICE. Usually price is king for me (within reason), because I have come to not EXPECT customer service these days. I am now one of the many CC customers who will return to them for my hobby needs because they have the product, price, knowledge, AND BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. What a concept! Other vendors would fare well to take note.

As a flyer from down-under it is sometimes very difficult dealing with warranty issues etc. I have had no end of problems with another US brushless motor/controller supplier.
Patrick, Brenda and CC have been absolutely fantastic! They have replaced both brushed and brushless controllers and I would not hesitate in recommending them. I will only be buying CC controllers from now on!
I wish them all the best and believe that you get back what you give and I'm sure others feel the same.
Happy flying from NZ......

not meant to start a big noise, somthing to think about, Sometimes great service is like having lifetime warranties. Great to have if your have to KEEP TAKING THE PRODUCT BACK cuz it keeps going bad in the first place. ESC's are cheap compared to replacing planes.
