ARGG!! very inconsistantly running OS32

Very annoying.

I am flying a concept 32sx with an OS32, standard muffler (black),
Byron 15% nitro. Had great flight, about 15 min long, fairly
consistant engine performance. I fuel up, sit for about 10 min, start
up, and almost no power...right from the start. Very low head speed,
trouble even getting off the ground at almost full throttle. I try 3
more times, all with about the same result.

How can my engine have a great flight, and then garbage when nothing
seemed to change?

Any advice appreciated.

It sounds like it could be a perished fuel tube inside the tank, or the fuel
line has a air leak in it, that opens up more as it gets hotter.

You could also check that the exhaust pressure line is not blocked.

Check that the rubber seal round the main needle is airtight too, things do
change when the engine gets hot.

You could also check that the throttle servo is operating correctly, and not
getting too hot from the exhaust. It has happened to me on 2 models, and I had
to introduce a heat shield made from cardboard wrapped in tin foil.

One last thing is to change the glowplug. Keep the old one, then if the problem
goes away, chuck it. If the problem remains, put the old one back in and
repackage the new one ready for another day.

sounds like its flooding the engine,
dont fuel up untill you are ready to fly
or use a fuel line clamp near the carbie
