Hello all, After not using the car for approx 6 months,I'm having a
little trouble with properly setting up my MTX-2.

The car has two grub screws on each rear arm which I believe are for
bump stop and droop it also has two grub screws on the front for the
same reasons. I can't remember which is for what. Am I correct? If
not, can you please explain what they are for effect of changing each?
Can somebody remind me how to adjust these properly? If not can you
point me anyplace that may be able to help? I've already tried
Mugenseiki.com and MugenRacing.com as well as the Rc Racing website
they send you to with no luck.

Please help

Let's see...one set of the screws are to set the "droop" and ther other is
to set the "bumpstop".

Droop is a measurement of the amount of down travel of the suspension arms.
This is best measured using a Hudy setup fixture of similar device. Set the
car on blocks (of a known size) and measure the distance from the bottom of
the upright to the ground (or setup board). Then subtract the block size
and you have the droop.

The bumpstop is the adjustment you can make to limit the up travel of the
suspension. Ideally, you would want the suspention arms to contact the
bumpstops before the bottom of the chassis contacts the pavement. Here is
my MTX-2 setup:

Front *** Rear
Camber -1.5 *** -2.0
Toe 1 out *** 2 in
Droop +2 *** +8
Ride H. 5 *** 5
Shock Pos Down *** 1 up
Springs Lt. Blue *** Lt. Blue
Roll Center n/a *** In: in,top / Out: out,bottom
Diff Oil 50K *** 5K
Tires 37sh *** 37sh

Note: The roll center setting refers to the position of the upper link on
the rear suspension.

Hope this helps.
