From what I am told, engine, lower frames, tank and gears.
Like to get some views on this, the JR person I spoke to says not much
happening on gassers with JR and parts could be a problem.

In this hobby, it's possible to convert anything to anything if you have a
strong enough desire and a deep enough pocket, but.... (and it's a big but)
"Is it WORTH the time, effort and expense when there's a raft of 2nd hand
gassers already fitted with all the necessaries"?
To convert ANY glo powered heli to gasser you need the engine (yep, it's
true:-), you need a clutch for the gasser which isn't always the same as the
glo version, you need a pinion gear to change the engine/main rotor gear
ratio and on some conversions, a tail rotor speed up gear to compensate for
the lack of main rotor speed.
You'll also more than likely need a different set of side frames too, so the
conversion begins to look less like a simple conversion and more like a
major engineering job.
