Excluding 3D Masters are there any helicopter fly-ins/events/shows/etc worth
visiting? Really looking for ones that have a good turn out of fliers and
traders to make the travelling worth it.
Thanks.
Phil.

Sandown in Esher Surrey is on 3rd and 4th May.
It isn't quite as well attended these days, but if we all stop going because of
that, it will be even less well attended until it disappears up its own exhaust
smoke.
The traders that are there do their best to give you a good deal, and the demo
flights alone are obviously well worth the trip. It was where the first public
display of gas turbine helis was made last year, and the place was overflowing
with electric helis... public hands on was the order of the day.
MK Helicentre and Sean Browns LHC fly-in were two brilliant ones last year. A
good chance to meet up with the 'professionals' too.
Although Loughborough got a good write up, I thought it was a bit dead,
probably because the Alcester fly-in drew most people away..wish I had gone
there now.

which happens to be this weekend, there's another in October. It attracts the top pilots from all over the UK for non competitive flying in a completely relaxed atmosphere.
