Here's a combat plane a freind has made for us to play with. Flies great and tuff as a box of nails. Uses cheap motors and 7 inch props with a 1320 batt. WS is about 30 inches and lgth is 23. AUW is around 12- 15 oz.

Mine uses a Turnigy 2826-1650.

The pics tell the build. It's realy straight forward and easy. Paint with latex or just spray H2O. Keep it simple.

We've been flying these about two weeks now, with streamers and also full contact. They take a beating and keep flying.

Enjoy

Here's some finished pics of number one and number two. We're hoping to get about a dozen in the air at the same time. So far 50 kits have been cut with more possible.

I've seen three of these hit at the same time and foam flying everywhere, an all three kept going.

this looks like a really cool plane. Do you have plans for it? I am looking to get into combat and wanted some wing or a delta. Quite honestly, this looks easier. lol.

Whooo!!! Nice strong plane and fantastic paint jobs too. That looks like a good next project plane.

No plans, but if you cut out anything close to this and keep the cg forward she'll fly fine. The spruce leading edges add a ton of strength to these planes. Tuff as nails. Thou I have seen one vaporized in mid air. Mine went right thru another, cut it into about 10 peices.

62pilot,

Too bad you don't have some video of that "vaporized in mid air" plane smash. That would be cool to see.
I am about to move from Germany back to the states in the next 45 days or so and have 10 planes I am going out to crash soon. I will ask "nicely" if the wife will video some of them for me. I will post them here on RCG for everyone to laugh or cry about..... LOL

Take care

John
