shelf life

Looking at a hangar 9 corsair on eBay, The seller says its been in the box for about two years (never removed)..
unless it been sitting in a moldy basement would there be any issue with this?

I would think as long as it's not been stored in a place with with a harsh enviroment such as an attic it should be fine. I have several planes that are are on the to-do-list and any time I have checked them, they look fine. I do have them stored in a closet in my house.
