Hi All,

I am looking at starting a new project for the 'Mini Fan'. On my last model (Mirage 2000c) I made the nozzle 56mm diameter after lots of searching. It works well.
For my next project I am considering using a micro servo to vary the nozzle diameter from maybe 64 - 50 mm or even smaller. I can operate this from a dial on my radio, has anyone had a go at this?

I know there are electronic devices that can read rpm, is there something I can adapt to maintain rpm? say if I set 35000rpm while the aircraft was static with max diameter nozzle, it could maintain rpm through a servo by reducing the nozzle diameter and maintaining back pressure.

I expect the rpm would have to be taken from the controller, how to connect to a servo maybe the hard bit?
