Auto Pilot NEEDED!!

Hello

Does anyone know here know of a company, individual or group of individuals who design autopilot systems tailored to fit custom hardware? I have designed a custom hardware system which I want to use to introduce autonomous features to model planes. Basicallly I want to create a UAV using my hardware, can anyone help me with the software autopilot?

Get an ArduPilot and modify the softtware.

Not 100% sure I can do that and not bring the plane down. I must admit that I am not a software genius, nor do I fully understand how the software works for autonomous flight. I'll take a look though, but I'll probably need some help on this, you say modify the software, you make it sound very simple and it may be, I'll take a look.


Any other suggestions?

There are lot's of do it yourselfers here. Check the DIY board and this one. You might attract a willing partner.
