Can some one tell me are 2.4 ghz tx & rx of different brands compatible? Can I use a Corona 2.4 ghz rx with a Spektrum 2.4 ghz tx?

No, you have to use the same brand. Spektrum and JR DSM are compatible, but other than that you're on your own.

Discussed very frequently over in the Radios forum. The general answer is no but there are a few limited exceptions (Spektrum/Corona isn't one of them).

The new wave of cheap chinese 2.4ghz radios appear to be very compatible across brands. There are about a dozen different models that work with each other.
