Is there any way I can make my 4Ch Exceed RC transmitter work with Reflex XTR? My 4Ch Esky Tx works with XTR no problem but when I plug the cable to my Exceed RC Tx the program just says I need to turn on my transmitter when its already ON. It has the same connector on the back as the Esky so I'm wondering what could be wrong? There are 8 dip switches on the back of the Exceed Tx, what are they for and do I need a special dip switch settings to make it fly the sim? If its something to do with opening the case and soldering some wires I'm not afraid to do it if someone can tell me how :)
Thanks for any help you can give guys, its much appreciated :)

Doesn't mean that it uses the same pins to send the signals

Who knows ... Have you read the manual or tried googling the make and model of TX to see if there is anything on this subject... ??
My guess is that four could be the channel reversing switches, but what the other 4 do I have no idea.

Doubt if its that simple. One possible cause is that the TX is not sending a traditional PPm signal that the XTR dongle can read. There are several cases of these far eastern transmitters using propriety PPm signals or using a PCM signal. Either way if you cant switch modes or if it is sending a non standard PPm signal then it simply isn't compatible with XTR (or probably any standard interface for that matter) and you shuould stick with your Esky TX that works !
