CG of EF 88" Extra

What is the max distance from wingnose to CG?

I have problem to reach the 6" - 6,75" to CG!

I ask because i will use one 10s1p + 2s1p 4500mAh batteries and so i can not move the batteries s 2x6s1p akkus to the firewall!

Has nobody an idea?

I dont own that plane Martin, have you tried doing a search here or at www.flyinggiants.com? I bet you will find your answer in there.

I don't know what to tell you. If your equipment won't allow you to achieve the proper CG range, then you'll have to add weight or move something.

I had no problem with getting the CG correct have 10s1p G3 5000mAh +
2 x 2s A123 2300mAh for the receiver en they are on the side of the nosecone

have AXI5345/14 for the power, have still some problems with it but I think I got a good working workaround.

i included a photo from the batteries in the extra!

I think i will need a heavier motor!

Which length has the 1527 + gear?

@Bart: Which modification have you done that you get an ready to fly weight of 16,5pounds?

I didn't do much
- 10s setup ( 300 gram less )
- axi 5345/14 ( 900 gram)
- jeti 99
- home made, sandwich motormount

motormount is going to be a little bit heavier, because I don't trust the bell in
front, forces are way to much.

- no wheelpants ( we have long grass, kost me already 2 landing gears )
- very light wheels ( robbe )
- AR9100 so no separate power box
- CF spinner

I still don't know if this setup will give me enough power, engine is on its way to AXI, because of the problem.
