I haven't seen a thread about this new F-22 so I will start one.

Does any one have any comments, good or bad? Is the quality good enough for a static display? Where can I find the scale pilot seen in the pics? With a 4S battery will this kit need a separate BEC or will the one on the ESC work OK?
Thanks

Looks pretty nice. It's an Andy Chen design (Starmax). The pilot in the pics is what they send out with Starmax planes now. It's designed for the 4S (50A ESC) so you'll have no problem using that type of batt. Just wish they made a retract version.

Thanks for the reply. That's all good news. Now that BH has the B-2 and F-117 with retracts, not sure who makes them but damn good looking, any chances they will make a F-22?

Someone mentioned a week ago that the Banana Hobby/Blitz RC Works F-22 is the LX jet. Looks like Pete has been working with LX to fine tune and market better versions of the 70mm F-22 and the 64 & 70mm F-117s under the Blitz name which is great! They look fantastic! Actually, after looking closely at the B-2 pics, LX may be the company Pete is working with to develop it.
UPDATE - BH is working with LX on the B-2. See link:

BPHobbies sells LX F-22 and offers optional retracts but looks like a little mod work will need to be done.
Someone may want to check my math but I came up with $267 for the BP Hobbies F-22 without a radio. My figures came from the link below.
Banana Hobby is charging $239.95 RTF! This looks like a better deal and a better product to me! I've ordered one already but it's always good to compare!

Nope, nothing to do with Andy and Starmax this time.
Awesome flying plane though.

This 70mm F-22 will need some LED Afterburners!
Here's a video to get you inspired. I believe the pilot is Major Paul "Max" Moga. He's the host of the Military Channel's "Showdown Air Combat" and "Great Planes!" Enjoy!

yes, it looks exactly like the LX 22 (less the pilot) from BP Hobbies that I used to own.. funny how all these guys put their name on the same product and pretend its unique..
very nice flyer due to the large wing surface..but the airframe is draggy..

Actually, Pete stated in the F-117 video that he is working in conjunction with LX, so, there is no pretending going on. He is straight up about that partnership.
