Hi all,

I have just ordered two Futaba Micro square plugs from Custom Electronics (http://www.customelectronics.co.uk/) to make up a trainer cable to connect two 7CHP Txs together. I am just wondering what type of cable will be best though? Should I make sure to use a shielded cable, or is this unnecessary?

Thanks.

The cables I have seen and used have no shielding.

I guess as the transmitters are simply sending a set of "logic" pulses at 20ms intervals then you should be fine using something like cat5 cable. If you used a shielded audio cable it won't hurt !

Thanks for that. Bought some alarm cable (http://www.dse.co.nz/dse.shop/4a505f3d007877962741c0a87f3b06b6/Product/View/W9910) today that should do the trick. It's 4mm outside diameter so will fit into the plug ends nicely.
