I am selling one mint condition, never been wet, Weed Eater size Octura Strudder assembly with a prop, flex shaft and engine collet. I think the collet is an 8mm x 1.25mm but I have no way of checking it at this time. I recall spending a small fortune on this setup but do not recall exactly how much. Taking offers, highest offer gets it.

Thanks for looking, reply directly with a PM or e-mail please,
Matt

I'll go $37 shipped prividing the shaft is 1/4" or 6.35mm. Thats a good setup and the strut is Stainless Steel. Used it before on a cat with collet setup and it performed quite well. (that should help your sale) :)

You're right. Great for a play boat though or make it into an offset rudder on your choice of hull for a tad better performance.

Question remains... is it 1/4 or 3/16" ? If its 1/4" my offer stands.

Ok, the flex shaft is .255 in diameter and 24" long. The strudder is cast aluminum and the tail nut and flex shaft ferrel(?) are brass. The prop is Berillium (sp?) and the numbers are1667. The stub shaft is stainless and the thrust bearings probably are as well. The rudder has a built in watter pickup.

As far as if this setup is for racing or fun use, I could not say, I was going to use it in a scratch built offshore catamaran with a 32cc air cooled engine.

I already have a few offers via PM but after receiving a PM as to what this set is worth, the lowest I will go is $55 shipped.

Thanks for looking and reply with offers or ask questions via PM please, I do not check the boat forum very often.(in case you hadn't noticed ;) )
