I got this gyro from a guy near Indianoplis. I plan on using it as an integral part in my flight training ground school. It is an extremely precise model of a full size SnoBird Exciter that used the Rotax 503 engine and McCutchen Skywheels rotor blades. all the cheek plates and little brackets are exact to size (I'm building a full scale Snobird Tandem Trainer now) as well as the full functioning joystick and control system. The rotorhead is the offset gimbal type as used on the full size version. I thought you folks would get a kick out of seeing it.

Yes, yes, yes... Hang that beautiful model up and admire it for decades to come. She's not a flyer. What an extraordinary craftsman!!!

Oh, I plan to admire it for a LOOOOOONNNNG Time. It will be a very usefull tool in my ground school since it's so accurate. It will help me demonstrate so many things that words alone can't paint a good enough picture like, control inputs, gyroscopic precession, etc... the guy that built it was indeed a craftsman.
