Any idea of what this is?
Span 110", 3 piece composite wing, full house, t tail.
Fuse is 46" nose to rudder hinge, wing root is 9 1/8"
Also, any idea on this one
wood fuse, span 134"
maybe Aquila XL?
Thanks
Don

First not sure. Second looks like Windsong/Lovesong with a shortened nose.

Among all the sailplanes I found 3 fiberglass fuselages, one was a taco type
which is probably a Dodgson fuse, so you are probably
correct.
Thanks

the first one look like a lightly modded Legend with flat wing tips.

More likely very highly modified, as the Legends were wood construction. It does resemble a Legend a bit, but the center panel has too much span and the tips are way too short. I was thinking a Saturn, Predator or the like.

Yeah your right that looks like a bagged wing. Later Legends where obechi over foam wings. Actually the tips look a bit big compared to the Legend I had. That fuse is a Legend fuse though which is more pointy then the Saturn. I have a Saturn 2.5 fuse Laying around too. I have to start thinning out what I got

Probably not. I don't think RnR ever bagged, just molded.

Canopy and nose shape is different then the two legend fuses I have here. Tail end looks alike, and its got a stab/elevator combo like the legend.

I'll take a close up of the fuse and wings,
I appreciate all the input.

Heres what Legend looks like. Did the make a short nose fuse for them?

That matches the fuses I have here

Hey soar dude
it sure looks real close to a legend,
I took some measurements, and close ups
Does this match up with what you have
Wing center section is 49" long 9 1/8" root
Tips are 30 1/2" long.
Wings are foam core, not sure of the sheeting.
Fuse is fiberglass, 46" long, nose to rudder hinge.
Front wing mounting bolt is 13 1/2" from tip of nose.
distance between mounting bolts is 6 3/4"
Thanks again

Oops sorry man not a Legend. The front of the wing is held down by a peg going into a bulkhead in the fuselage.

I'll list it as a mystery ship, but I believe that name is already taken.

I can confirm that that is indeed a T-tailed Perkins Maverick.
I have a v-tailed fuse of the same plane.
They are pretty fast ships, from what I'm told.
RG-14 transitioning to SD-7003, I believe.
Enjoy.

I think the second plane is a lovesong also,
134" span, bagged wings, wood fuse,
mechanical linkage.
