With Indoor season getting more popular with every passing year, we at rc-microconcepts have been designing a series of micro combat wings. They are both fast and agile. You can slow them down to a fast walk as well. They are made mostly of 2mm depron and use Parkzone Vapor electrics. I use a 7mm Blue end bell motor with a BP prop. you get about 17-18 grams of thrust with this set-up. Seeing that the AUW of one of these is 16-21 grams that makes for a good set-up here. You can also go with a 2 gram brushless motor and same prop and get 20 grams of thrust.
Would anyone here be interested in something like that? They also make very fun front yard flyers as well.
Thanks for viewing,
Matt

Wow, cool! Fast responces! I will be selling these on our site in a month. Cost per wing will be around28.00 for a kit. They are hollow wing designs to keep weight down to a minimum. We will aslo have flat plate/profile versions as well. Cost for these will be about 13.99USD.
Thanks,
Matt

Can you gives us a ballpark on how much the complete electronics will cost with the brushless setup?

2.4ghz rx/brushed esc/servos-http://www.2dogrc.com/ecommerce/os/catalog/parkzone-brick-bind-p-2608.html
2gram BL motor-

Here is there combo for a 72mhz rx, BL esc, 200mah battery and motor.

If you go with the PZ rx (IMHO BEST CHOICE!!!!) you need the BL converter. It converts the "Brushed" signal to a "BRUSHLESS" signal.

I would go with the PZ RX, 2gram BL motor, BL esc, BL converter and a 130mah lipo.
These also perform well with just a 7mm coreless motor that is available at www.bsd.com. They have a BLUE endbell.

I'm interested in this.
I had been developing my own, but was not where I hoped to be by now.
Hope you've found a good way to hold the brick in place without allowing too much push-pull during manuevers. I tried and failed with servo-mounting tape, then tried Uhu Creative for Styrofoam glueing it directly to the EPP I used. Got glue in the servo gears and had a devil of a time getting it out.
Anyway, hope you have a good solution for the brick mounting!

I use 3M black double sided tape. A small 1/4"x3/4" piece works fine with no brick movement.

Thanks. Your elevons must be much easier to push-pull in flight than mine are.

Here is one of the Indoor Combat wings we will be producing here at rc-microconcepts.

It has and overall wingspan of only 10 inches. AUW should be around 14-16 grams for great performance. With the speed and strength of this model, it should be able to take out the competition fast. This small wing is also a blast outdoors.
Thanks for viewing!

Here is another one that can be used in some Indoor Combat. I call it the Micro Flea. Designed with the SuperFly Hyperflea as inspiration. Has a 11.5" wingspan and weighs 20grams AUW with battery. Uses the same set-up as the LiL'Devil.

I am sorry, it is an X-Twin prop. Same as used on the Aero Aces bought from Walmart. I think Bob sells those as well.

So if I get this Prop (http://www.bsdmicrorc.com/index.php?productID=668) and this motor (http://www.bsdmicrorc.com/index.php?productID=621) I can run them directly from my vapor brick and 70-110 lipo?
